Overall, it seems Ubisoft has been casting a wide net to determine where the Far Cry franchise could go next. That being said, the next entry may be coming within the next year, as late as spring of 2021 according to Ubisoft's fiscal year release schedule. Far Cry 6 may even be a potential sequel or set in the same universe as Far Cry 3 assuming Michael Mando is being more coy than playful. Or the game may go even further outside the box than usual and explore something completely new. Summer's gaming events should give us some more concrete i
Soon Far Cry 6 Map|Https://Farcry6Zone.Com/ Cry fans will be entering this period for Far Cry 6 as it will likely be shown during the Ubisoft Forward showcase. For the last game, Far Cry 5 was officially teased by Ubisoft about four days prior to the official reveal in 2017. That would mean Far Cry 6 teasers could show up as early as next week, with Ubisoft Forward scheduled for Sunday, July 12. Assuming Ubisoft and the Far Cry team opts for a similar tease for Far Cry 6 , fans may able to narrow down and debunk the many rumors circulating about Far Cry 6 very s

The franchise's track record has shown it's not afraid to experiment with the game's themes or settings, either through DLC or with entirely new games. Far Cry: Primal and Far Cry: Blood Dragon are prime examples of this , based in prehistoric times as well as a retro-inspired sci-fi future. One of the most popular theories linked to Far Cry 6 states it will allegedly take place within either a North Korea setting or Jurassic-style sett
One of the surprise hits of the year was A Way Out from Hazelight Studios. This co-op action-adventure game can only be played multiplayer, either split-screen or online, and offers a fresh new take on the cooperative genre. Players must work together to solve puzzles and navigate quick time events as they escape prison and venture beyond the walls. This game would make the list based on the creative new spin on the co-op genre, but it also has a surprisingly well-written story to back it up. A Way Out is a must-play for those who long for the days of couch co
Hopefully for now the Far Cry 6 reveal will be a pleasant surprise, assuming its shown at Ubisoft Forward. Even though there's not much known about the actual game, everyone seems to know that Far Cry 6 exists. Considering four out of five of Ubisoft's triple-A releases have been unveiled and one of them is supposed to be a Far Cry title, Ubisoft Forward will likely reveal the next game in the ser
Insanity has also become a mainstay motif of the Far Cry franchise, to which most fans attribute to Far Cry 3 's Vaas and the impact the character had on the franchise. Honestly pretty much every Far Cry game has had a twinge of insanity, considering there are literal mutated monsters in the first game. Far Cry 2 's insanity, however, was reflected in the game itself. Several mechanics that many considered over-developed or unnecessary served to make the game unpredictable. Guns would get rusty and jam, or even break apart into pieces after prolonged usage. Buddies could potentially die permanently in any interaction. Even the protagonist becomes afflicted with Malaria at the beginning of the game , forcing the player to source medicine to prevent the disease from flaring up during com
Something that Far Cry 5 did bring back from Far Cry 2 was the buddy system , but in many ways it was a stripped down version of what it used to be. The buddy system in Far Cry 2 was an integral part of the gameplay, rather than just a companion who could assist in battle. Any time a pivotal story mission was about to occur, players would receive a call from their best buddy offering an alternate way to complete the mission. Then these side characters would actively take part in main story missions, helping assist the player for a more favorable outcome through specific tactical scenarios. Buddies also had permadeath, meaning if a buddy becomes gravely injured during one of these missions, they can be gone for the rest of the g
Kefka's insanity stands out amongst just about every other RPG villain, and not just because he was the first. Even to this day, Kefka still stands out. His personality, warped by his exposure to magic, was that of an evil clown. However he was so much more than that. He is still to date one of the best examples of delightfully pure evil, the kind of villain that you could not stop watching because you had no idea what he was actually capable of. Even today, Kefka's legacy lasts. Sure Sephiroth comes close, but no other Final Fantasy villain, or any RPG villain really, has come close to the level of evil that Kefka was able to reach.
While some of the encounters and puzzles are more challenging for multiple people, the game makes up for it by dishing out a rich and colorful story and smashing gameplay , making Guacamelee 2 one of the best multiplayer games of the y
