The HGC Western Clash is a bracketed double-elimination tournament. This allows teams that lose in the first round a second chance; this also means that there are two brackets. When a team gets eliminated from the upper bracket, they are sent down to the lower bracket. If a team loses in the lower bracket, they are eliminated. However, the team that makes its way through the lower bracket will see themselves at the Grand Fi
[pullquote]“Historically, we weren't really trying to tell a cohesive sotry for the rest of this year. We really think of it as a season this initial year starting out with this Rise of the Raven comic later this month. We really try to delve into the realms, the realm lords and what the Nexus is.”[/pullqu
Matt Villers: Deckard has been someone we've been wanting to do for awhile. It's just a matter of how you actually approach that challenge because it is a big challenge. He is not a fighter; everyone else we bring in is these legendary warriors and they have battlefield experience. Deckard is the narrator, he's the wise old man, he tells stories, he guides you on quests, he identifies your items, but you never see him fight. By looking at him, you don't really expect him to be someone who would fi

Just like in the video game, players must choose between the Terrans, Protoss or Zerg and then head into battle in an attempt to gain control of the Koprulu Sector. While base-building in Starcraft the video game can get complicated at times, this board game follows traditional RISK rules, meaning anyone ages 10 and up can jump right in. The Starcraft theme touches every part of this game, including the highly-detailed custom playing pie
Doomhammer is one of the most feared weapons in WoW history, but now everyone can wield one of their own with the World of Warcraft Doomhammer Toy . Designed for ages six and up, this collectible is great for play or display. While it may be just a toy, it features a Blizzard-approved design that captures all the little intricacies of the Doomhammer from the game (and the mov
Tempo Storm has proven that they are one of the top teams by getting 1st during Phase 1 of the NA Pro League. However, they fell short during the Western Clash - Phase 1 and HGC Mid-Season Brawl by placing in 3rd and 4th, respectively. They definitely have the potential to win: with the addition of ViN in the lineup, maybe they can turn that aro
As further evidence the writers probably bit off more than they could chew this week, Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) is also shot in the chest by Patty Spivot (Shantel VanSanten) this episode, leaving him clinging to life until Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears) regained his speed with an injection of 'Velocity 6' and removed the bullet. We wonder if that will come back late
If you're planning on watching every single second of the HGC Western Clash, this should be no problem. According to the bracket (which I'll discuss in a few moments), the last game on Friday will begin at 7:00 PM
On paper, the plan is being executed to perfection. Cisco (Carlos Valdes) uses his new superpower to sense big things in his new girlfriend's future, those big things get even bigger when a magical villain comes to town, establishing himself as too much for masked vigilantes, and chasing the now-fully-revealed Hawkgirl off into their own series . It's a thing of shared universe beauty if it can be pulled off, and Crump is up to the task of playing an immortal villain. Unfortunately and, perhaps fittingly, it's the velocity that becomes the prob
So much of our focus is about that; we've been doubling down on that recently with our hero re-works. It's not just about bringing new heroes into the game, it's about looking at the 70 plus heroes that we've already added and taking all of this new knowledge and information that we gathere while making heroes for the past three-plus years and applying that to things that we've already done before. Again, we're looking for every opportunity to make it bet
Finally, the last entry in the epic trilogy of the League Transporters, Bard. The worst of the trio, for the simple reason that the enemy team can also use his Magical Journey portal. It can act as a great trap, using himself as bait, to lure unsuspecting enemies straight to Bard’s waiting allies. However, sometimes the portals are created out of panic, as Bard tries to escape the clutches of death. If not properly coordinated, all Bard accomplishes is the equivalent of the drowning person who pulls down those around them. To top it all off, there is his ultimate, designating anything in an area invulnerable and unable to move for a couple seconds. While useful to lock down a fleeing enemy, giving time for your team to catch up, it often backfires and only locks down his pursuing allies, allowing the enemy to escape. In addition, look at his face, so lovable and peaceful… he doesn’t belong in League of Legen
