I can’t even begin to think where Kojima will take things, but the socially dependent delivery system present in Sam Porter Bridges’ journey is one that controls beautifully, giving every step meaning as you stumble towards your destination, careful to avoid losing everything you’ve worked for. Fellow couriers would often come into view, while you’d also need to deal with evil monsters and bandits, but so much of the game was tranquil in its atmosphere, allowing the world to become our own. I adore this isolation, but I’d equally welcome expansion with deeper characters and more varied environments that aren’t just a bland mixture of rain, mountains, hills, and desert all populated by the same mixture of spooky monsters you’re desperately trying to avoid. The core systems are great, but with further refinement they could be something special.
Walking across America can be lonely, and it can be extremely quiet. There’s a great soundtrack in Death Stranding thanks to Low Roar , who feature prominently in Kojima’s game. Low Roar’s songs only play in designated segments, which add a new layer of emotion to the scene. However, these songs are lost to the game after such sections are comple
In the game, players take on the role of Sam Bridges, a porter who must forge through the rough post-apocalyptic American wilderness to deliver packages and supplies to isolated outposts. With many people stuck at home and encountering difficulties, Death Stranding 2 tips Stranding would soon find itself becoming a story many players could relate to due to its emphasis on connection and hope for human
An odd choice of the original was that it was set during an eternal day for no real reason. It was wonderful, still, but unusual. Having the day actually progress offers up so many opportunities. The darkness of night might make it difficult to move about, and enemy patrols could be different. Maybe other players could even build lights to guide your p
Unless it involved throwing Sam’s bodily fluids, there wasn’t much versatility in the way players could fight. Most of the fights with BTs would end with Sam running out of gear, and patiently waiting for other dimensional Sam players to throw more ammunition. It made the fighting feel familiar and not exactly engag
It would be great to see Death Stranding 2 embrace more horror, and truly freak the players out as they try and get past BT areas. The creatures themselves are pretty scary, and it would be interesting to see how Kojima and his team could make the threat of BTs even wo
The team was very surprised when NASA announced its discovery of the Trappist-1 system as the algorithm they created had produced an almost identical system (with all 7 Earth-like planets) within the game that was somewhat close to the coordinates of the actual system. The team had to rename their system of cou
No one expected Higgs to survive the events of Death Stranding , considering he was the ultimate villain of the game. Higgs is as bad as they come, and isn’t afraid to torture people, or destroy entire cities to further his goal. It’s what makes him a vicious antagonist, and somewhat of a charmer thanks to Troy Ba
There’s a uniqueness to boss fights in video games, as these are not just ordinary enemies. They have character, and history, and seek to serve a purpose in stopping the protagonist. Death Stranding 2 can reward the player with challenging boss fig
With development on Death Stranding 2 well on the way, many fans are hopeful that some iconic Death Stranding characters return for Death Stranding 2 . Not much is known about the sequel, as the game follows Kojima’s cryptic methods, but there are characters that Death Stranding 2 ne
In the original Death Stranding, the joy of the world was the exploration. It was about the journey through this desolate world rather than the cargo you delivered at the destination. The whole game was built around that core loop and felt perfectly executed. Of course, you can always make a world feel even more al
Some of the bestselling and highest-rated video games in the last few years have featured Troy in a lead or supporting role. However, thanks to his talent in voice acting, he manages to sound different enough for it to not always be obvious that a character's voice is his. Some of his most successful roles have come from his work with Naughty Dog, which is a PlayStation first-party studio. Most notably, Troy has served as both the voice actor and motion capture actor for Joel in The Last of Us and The Last of Us 2 . This role highlights Troy's ability to display complex emotions through his voice acting, and it also shows off his singing talents. Troy has also lent his voice acting talents to the Uncharted series where he plays Sam Drake, who is Nathan Drake's brother, in Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and Uncharted: The Lost Lega
Since the infamously scary PT arrived to tease a Silent Hill reboot from Hideo Kojima, fans have been mighty impressed with the legendary game creator’s knack for horror. Some of these scary elements were adapted and used for Death Stranding , like the mechanics involved in hiding and running from BTs. Yet, there can always be m(Image: https://burf.co/about.php)
