Keep in mind that if you select a perk and then later regret that decision, your choice can be undone. Simply interact with a shrine and select “Reignite the Sparks” under the Self-Advance category. Then select your relics in order to rest the selected perk.
Kang-Jin will screech and summon multiple lightning strikes from above randomly around the arena. They can do it both on the ground and in the air. The only difference is that the midair variant lasts longer.
This attack is similar to the regular Body Slam, but just as the boss lands, several spikes will pop out of the ground . Shigandang’s fist will start to glow, and right as it thrusts its fists into the ground, the spikes will explode . This attack doesn’t create any shockwaves.
In Black Myth: Wukong , your staff is everything when it comes to melee combat. Quite literally, the staff is the only weapon type in the game. However, that doesn't mean there isn't any room for strategy and deeper melee options. There are 3 different combat stances you can utilize during your journey. They are as follows:
The boss will raise one of its legs and arms at once into the air. It will then bring down its arm and thrust it into the ground , releasing a shockwave. After a short delay, the ground will start to glow, and, as the boss pulls out its arm from the ground, the ground will explode . This attack has a huge AOE . The giant rock on its back might rattle a little before the boss is about to execute this attack.
Be wary of his combos while keeping in mind that you don’t have to dodge everything. Just dodge the first strike for most of the boss' attacks and then create some distance by sprinting away . After the boss is done with his combos, approach him by using the Cloud Step or Immobilize to dish out damage.
Like Curios, Relics also offer ongoing passive benefits. In your first playthrough, there are a total of 5 relics. You will receive one after you complete each of the first 5 chapters. They each come with 3 perks and you must select one.

These objects are seemingly mystical items that can be equipped (or activated in the case of Relics) to grant you various power boosts. Of course, your play style will determine what Curios and Relic options you select.
Following Light Attack with Heavy Attack performs Tactical Retreat. The Destined One hops backward and hones his defenses while preparing for another fierce attack. Following Tactical Retreat with another Heavy Attack that consumes a Focus Point unleashes Forceful Thrust.
In Black Myth: Wukong , you'll inevitably need to craft armor and weapon upgrades. As your foes become faster and stronger, you'll need better equipment. Often, the materials you need to collect in order to craft these updates can be obtained from common foes, elites, or treasure chests. Furthermore, you'll want to forage the flora as you make your way through each world. These are often ingredients that can be used in crafting medicines with varying effects and protections.
Tiger’s Acolyte is an optional boss that you can encounter near the Windrest Hamlet Shrine. Wielding a long sword, this boss deals considerable damage but also has many glaring weaknesses that make it fairly easy to defeat. Defeating the boss is worth it because it drops the Old Rattle-Drum Key Item, which unlocks the Mad Tiger Secret Boss.
This attack can be avoided by dodging the first attack and sprinting to your back . If the last hit is ranged, you can simply dodge in any direction as the shockwave is very linear. There are a few instances where he’ll roll forward to close in the distance and then throw a horizontal slash. If that happens and the boss manages to catch up to you, dodge backwards and sprint away again.
The basic strategy for this boss battle revolves around your taking control of the fight. If you give the boss a lot of room to attack and use his combos, he’ll most likely kill you because his attacks deal a lot of damage. Tiger’s Acolyte doesn’t have that much HP so if you keep rushing him down , you’ll be able to defeat him easily. Your armor loadout doesn't stop at your the threads your curated Destined One is wearing. You will also have two slots to equip Curios. Pick your objects wisely. Keep in mind these objects can compliment armor or other equipped items. Often, specific effects used across multiple items are stackable in Black Myth: Wukong enabling rich customization options when it comes to gameplay.
