-While I didn’t mind Dragon Age IIit still was a step down from the incredible hardcore experience that was OriginsBioWare was able to meet in the middle, creating a more modern Action-RPG while maintaining an old school essenceThere was no game on this list that I spent more time with than Dragon Age: Inquisitionand for good reasonIt’s an RPG of the highest caliber, introducing us to Thedas like we’ve never seen it before, and some of the most affable characters to ever grace the Dragon Age fiction. There’s so much lore packed into this sixty dollar package that you’ll be engrossed in the storynot to mention the vast expansive world that has been finely craftedThe branching paths and party specific dialogue also give Inquisition an incredible amount of replay value; never before directly after finishing game did I want to replay it an entirely different wayThat’s not to mention the fights with dragons are some of the most satisfying occurrences to be foundDragon Age: Inquisition has it alland while I would like to see BioWare expand upon the addictive multiplayer mode, its campaign drove deep into my addictive personality.+We want to continue experimenting and evolving Eververse to improve player experienceand  www.destiny2Focus.com give more paths to earn Eververse rewardsPlease give us your feedback once Season 3 beginsas we’re dedicated to improving these systems moving forward.
+One of the biggest questions around Destiny 2 is if Activision and Bungie are doing enough to fix what is an extremely wonky machine, and if so, can it be saved? Destiny 2 does have a dedicated fan basebut even that has hit a low point compared to when Destiny found itself going through these same woes, just with less grief, which makes senseDestiny isn't perfect and it came long way from when it launched, but many of the problems in Destiny 2 didn't exist for DestinyIn many ways Destiny 2 felt like it had taken about a thousand steps back. Now Destiny 2 finds itself not only on the same trajectory as the original, but also with more patches and leaks to fixThe boat was sinking as soon as it hit waterit just took a little time at sea to see just how bad things were.

-Having done every previous raid in the first Destiny, it was exciting looking forward to the first raid for Destiny 2. What would it be thematically? How would it operate with challenging a fireteam of six? What would the loot be? Would it be so fun that it would call Guardians back for multiple run throughs? And then Leviathan droppedIt looked spectacularchallenging and unlike any raid seen yetIt was a freaking massive space fish eating a planet; it screams ominous!+It's been less than a year since Destiny 2’s launchwith highs and lows, but mostly lows. Players may have fallen off Destiny 2 faster than a Sparrow racing its way through…oh wait (I miss Sparrow Racing)It's this exact feeling, however, that Bungie is battering its player base with. For those who have come from Destiny and stuck around -- through gritted teeth -- and those who are newcomers to the IP, it's been like climbing a vertical mountain that's starting to invert itself on the way upSlowlyBungie has course corrected and it's filling in much of the gaps that should have been filled in to begin withWhen an entire weapon selection is useless for much of the first year, something might be wrong, especially because it leads to one of the worst grievances of all -- not having fun.

-After that first mission, though, players are immediately ejected to space, where a limited number of things to do sits in classic Destiny menuLike, whatI can’t even land on a planet and just wander aroundWith nowhere else to go, it’s either hop in the Strike or hop in the Crucible.+(Image: https://burst.shopifycdn.com/photos/rain-water-droplets-begin-to-form-on-the-tips-of-a-leaf.jpg?width=746&format=pjpg&exif=0&iptc=0)It’s surprisingly fun figuring out how to trigger the Heroic Public Events, and the rewards are well worth the effort. Whether you lose, win a basic Public Event, or triumph in a Heroic Public Event, Destiny 2 always makes sure to reward you.

-The dreaded public events from Destiny have gone from being the most boring things to do in the original gameto bring some of the most exciting activities in Destiny 2. Easier to find and participate inplayers can now locate and fast travel to them via the in-game mapTheres no more need to use a third-party website anymore. +All activities in Destiny 2 can be played cooperatively, but the real test of a Fireteam’s comradery comes in Strikeswhich Destiny 2 provides plenty of. There are five Strikes in Destiny 2 (six if you’re on PS4), and each is meticulously crafted to test a FireteamTheyre far more exciting than the Strikes in vanilla Destiny and dole out some quality lootThose looking for a challenge and some of the top-of-the-line loot will want to try the Nightfallhoweverwhich is unlocked later in the game.
-I’ve played a lot of Destiny, whether that be in Destiny or Destiny 2 formThis of course means I’ve also done everything Destiny has to throw at me. Being someone who likes Destiny means you’ll probably end up grinding toward the be all end all raid content for whatever iteration the series is on. destiny 2 weapons 2 has a serious problemthoughand it's its raid Leviathan and what it exactly it wants to be.+

-Which brings this full circle back to the Strike. With only one Strike to tackle, any Guardian checking out the beta will probably play this few times. It was with my second group that more problems started to crop up. The beta is a stress test on Destiny 2’s system, so having such sparse…everything...became more noticeable. There is a limited arsenal in Destiny 2 at the momentand when the party hit the boss, we started to wipeAfter the third wipe I began switching out weapons in every combination imaginable, but we just couldn’t land it. Having played Destiny since vanillaI’d say the skills are there. But here is Destiny 2 presenting itself as challenging, but there is always that inkling that it’s façadeAgain, every Destiny expansion has done this. New encounters, new mechanics, new gear. It makes it all seem like the game has changed, but level up enough, equip the right stuff and that boss that was causing so much grief becomes laughableOne can only hope that this beta is not tricking players into a false experience, but that won’t be revealed until September. So, for now it’s the waiting game.+The biggest improvement was the most recent update fixing massive number of woes that have been plaguing Destiny 2 since day one and adding certain improvements where needed. Sniper rifles are useful now; it’s been six months and a weapon choice has been entirely useless up to this pointFor anyone who played Destiny, jumping back in now will bring you right back to when Icebreaker was popping Vex heads off from a comfy distanceThis isn’t just a rant about snipers being bad and boo-hoothis is just one major example of one of the many pitfalls Destiny 2 has been filling in. The best part is all weapon choices seem to have gotten nice healthy balanceEvery gun feels good to use and is reminding me more of old play in Destiny with the improvement of Destiny 2Classes have also seen dramatic improvements; not once did I find myself using the Sunbreaker until this most recent patch.

-The next week the raid reset and all Destiny 2 players learned something new about the raid: not only did the raid reset, but the order of the rooms was differentThis is smart designallowing players to take on challenges they are unfamiliar with or maybe were having trouble with the week previous to improve upon themDogs were now first; this was fantastic news as the same fireteam could tackle the raid and knock out the part that had been challenging usfirst. Unfortunately the same fireteam couldn’t all make itinstead the four that did show (myself included) ended up playing Trials of the Nine. We did try everything in our power to fill the two spots putting out lines throughout our friends list and even Destinylfg.net and other sources, but we gave up after a few hours at this. No raid this week it looked like. This is not a new problem for Destiny, with Destiny 2’s new feature of Guided Games it seemed some of this searching for party members stress could be alleviated.+Having faction leaders like Devrim is a step forward for Destiny’s open areasHe’s strong personalityand it is good to listen to other characters that aren’t Nolan North’s-voiced GhostThe inclusion of NPCshowever, still don’t provide players with everything they needas you’ll still need to travel back to social spaces to decrypt engrams and access your vaultA more seamless experience that incorporated social spaces into the open area would have been much preferred.

-Who would have ever thought a mobile game would end up on my list? As a big fan of the Hitman franchise since its second iterationwhen it was announced that Square Enix Montreal would be working on mobile game in the same universeI was no doubt concernedTo my surpriseit ended up being one of the best games of the yearIt takes the scenarios we’ve come to love in the full-fledged stealth games and creates bite-sized puzzlesTheres no game on my Nexus 5 that I played more of this yeartrying to master each mission, while doing so with the least amount of turns or picking up the optional briefcaseWhile it’s not what I hope the series will move towards in the futureit is a nice side activity that will distract you for a couple minutes at a time.+Each of the three Guardian Classes – HunterTitan and Warlock – come equipped with brand new subclass. An Arcstrider Hunter becomes enveloped in Arc energy and unleashes attacks via an electrified staff. Sentinel Titans summon a shield constructed out of Void energywhich they can throw at enemies or use as a melee weaponLastbut not least, is the Dawnblade Warlock who summons a Solar sword and rains fire from the skies.
 +
+[JH]: So, that’s kind of outside the scope of where we have our involvement. Were super dedicated to story, and the high-level development decisions based on classes or specializations happen amongst other teams. We try our best to have a good narrative wrapper around that decision-makingOur involvement in the PvP is to develop a strong character in Lord Shaxx.
 +
+With Destiny 2 though, it feels like the opposite is true. Theyve been caught lying multiple timeshave made little effort to improve their communications with fans and what improvements they do deliver are hampered by the likes of the Prismatic MatrixDestiny 2 is in deep trouble right nowbut that doesn’t seem to matter to Bungie so long as they can keep the remaining players just happy enough to keep buying loot those boxes.
