-Updated on August 12th, 2024, by Nathan Halsey: Things in Destiny 2 have changed quite a bit since the release of The Final Shape, and this list has been updated to reflect that. While some of the weapons in the original publishing will be staying, many others have been powercrept, and have either lost their usefulness or are overshadowed by newer entriesIt should also be noted that with the release of The Final Shape weapon sunsetting has been entirely reversedmeaning that any weapons in your vault or on your character are now usable, regardless of their ageWhile this list will outline the best of the Auto Riflesdon't forget that the goal of the game is to have fun and that the old gun in your vault that looks cool will operate perfectly fine in most low-end PvE cont+Crucible remains mostly intact outside of quality-of-life improvements. Bringing the player count back up to 6v6 was the right move and the lower time-to-kill vastly improves the experience. The significant multiplayer addition in Forsaken lies with Gambita new mode that blends PvE and PvP elementsThe 4v4 mode tasks players with killing AI-controlled enemies and collecting and banking motes of light. After accumulating 75 motesa Primeval enemy appears and the first team to defeat their Primeval winsOf courseit’s not that simple thanks to the PvP elements. Players can spend motes to summon Blockers on the enemy’s map. Collect enough motes and a player can invade the enemy’s map for a short period.

-On September 4, 2018, Bungie released Forsaken, the first major expansion for Destiny 2. From this moment onward, the game changed for the betterJust as The Taken King saved the original Destiny, it’s likely that Forsaken saved Destiny 2With its launchmany of the inherent problems were done away with. New sub-classes were introduced with new Supers, ability recharge times were tuned to align more closely with how they were in Destiny 1 and Randomly rolled loot was back with even more ways to earn itOn top of all this, Two new locations were added, there were more secrets similar to the excellent "The Whisper " secret exotic quest from Warmind tucked away for players to findand it was all capped-off with "Last Wish," one of the best raids in the series to dateWith Forsaken, Destiny was finally back, and many fans were feeling happy.+Though short at 5-6 hours, the campaign provides enough thrills and excitement thanks to the great baronsEach of the eight barons offers a unique boss fight that keeps players on their toesThe Rider forces you to fight from aboard a Pike, the Trickster rigs ammo to explode and the Rifleman summons decoys to trip you upNot all were created equal, like the Machinist whose single identifiable trait is firing a few missiles. Then, there are some like the Fanatic who make up for lack of personality by throwing hordes of enemies at you. Still, the boss design is a huge step up from previous Destiny 2 story guide experiences.

-Add that with an assortment of enemies that attack from all different directions in multiple different ways and a boss fight like no other in the game makes this a strike that players will not soon forget. Even if in the end they would like +(Image: https://images.unsplash.com/photo-1701009711394-abd8ff7e8b6c?ixid=M3wxMjA3fDB8MXxzZWFyY2h8MTF8fGRlc3RpbnklMjAyJTIwYXJtb3IlMjBndWlkZXxlbnwwfHx8fDE3NzI0NDA4NTl8MA\u0026ixlib=rb-4.1.0)Follow the Toland light orb around the room. Cleansing Light or Dark plates and then standing in the middle of the room will flip itFind the orb and then cleanse the plate underneath it to make progress. While doing thisavoid and kill Hobgoblins and Knight Echos. A Knight Echo will spawn whenever Hobgoblin is killed. Light up the six sides of the cube in the middle of the arena, and find a small crack in the wall to go back to the Wastel
-You don't even need to own Shadowkeep to enjoy a lot of the expansion's content. The opening mission, the Moon patrol space, the new two new Strikes and the three Crucible maps are available as part of Destiny 2 walkthrough 2: New Lightthe free-to-play version of the gameWhile the Raid and campaign are sectioned offthere'lot you can do without owning Shadowkeep (the Seasonal Activities require you own the Season Pass).+
+Some strikes just do not live up to expectations. It isn't that players want each strike to live up to the hype or be bone-crushingly difficult, it is just they would prefer a snippet of edge-of-your-seat action during one of these events. Sadly, once players get past a few somewhat rough encounters with the enemy in The Insight Terminus, they will soon encounter one of the weakest bosses in the gameKargen the Technocrat fails to live up to his billing, allowing players to easily walk all over

-Despite all the regression with the campaign and monetization and the rehashing of older content, Destiny 2 still looks quite good. The Moon is an atmospheric place to visit and traversing the caverns the Hive call home produces a sense of dread that other locations in the Destiny 2 experience can't provideMeanwhilethe short visits into the Black Garden are gorgeous thanks to all the colors and lush jungle mixed with Vex machinery. Destiny 2 may be two years old now, but it's still looking good.+
+The main difference with Flamekeeper is that it comes with a bit more substance to it, which can make it tediousWith three pages worth of triumphs to completeplayers will be at it for some time during the ev

-Players who are not a fan of teamwork will absolutely hate The Corrupted strike. The level on its own is one of the hardest in-game levels players will face anyway but the added need to rely on your teammates makes coordination between teams all the more imperat+ Ace of Spades is a staple Hand Cannon in PvP all thanks to its main trait, Momento Mori, which grants the ability to see the radar while aiming, while giving a damage boost as well so long as players reload shortly after a kill. The weapon is a consistent three shot to the head within its optimal range, and the ability to constantly have the radar up allows for constant intel on enemy positi

-Boss fights and game enemies are sometimes not the only worry a player of Destiny 2 should concern themselves withIn factin The Inverted Spireenemies become the least of player'worriesInstead, the environment around them takes center stage as the arena is constantly changing and shifting, causing players to have to adapt to what is going on around t+Now that you’re back in the wasteland of Destiny 2 , follow the Kell Echo to your next locationIt will be shooting at youso take care not to get too close. Approaching him will also cause him to teleportso keep distance. Kell Echo is the final boss, but it’not time to face him yetOn the wayyou may run into the Emissary. Come close to it to learn lore, and every member of the team will receive something different. After following the Kell Echo, You will find another crack to go through, and you will arrive at the Singular

+Destiny 2: Forsaken takes place sometime after the events of the base game. You and Cayde-6 fly to the Prison of Elders to help an old friend, Petra Venj, put down a prison riot, but the trio quickly learns that the riot was orchestrated to cover up the breakout of eight Scorn barons. Rescued by the long-missing Prince Uldren Sov, the nine successfully escape the prison, but not before killing Cayde-6. Fleeing into the Reef, you pursue them to exact your revenge.

-As part of the Vex racethe Protheon Modular Mind is the final boss of the Inverted Spire StrikeAs the head honcho, the Boss has the ability to summon HarpiesGoblins, and other Vex foes to fight beside +The new Lightfall expansion seal, Virtual Fighterdeals with all things concerning Neomuna Although Neomuna's patrol space has been deemed quite hard to survive in, the triumph page only has nine triumphs for players to completeout of which completing a campaign mission on Master difficulty is the hardest

-Hobgoblins are among the scariest Vex monsters featured in the game. The cybernetic machines come equipped with hidden sniper units that can quickly dispatch sloppy gamers. Hobgoblins also use Laser Rifles and Line Rifles as heir primary weapons and an impenetrable shield to fend off the incoming fireThey can also recoup their heath in the midst of bat+Not all video game missions are made equallySome are just naturally harder than others for a multitude of different reasonsDestiny 2 personifies this belief in that some strikes are mind-numbingly easy while others will leave fans pulling their hair

-Bungie is now quadruple-dipping with Season Passes, loot boxes (via Engrams), direct cosmetic purchases and a Battle Pass. The Battle Pass in particular is annoying by adding an additional layer of time-consuming grind to a game that already requires a lot of grind. The scummiest part of the whole system, though, is that Bungie has built the Eververse store straight into the Director menu. Previously, monetization could be ignored entirely because it was secluded to the Eververse Store at the Tower. Now, Bungie has made sure that it follows players everywhere they go. It's sad to see such regression after Forsaken made Destiny 2's monetization feel fairer to players.

-Probably the most difficult thing about Savathun'Song is the instant unexpected kills that occur without players even having time to react to what is going on onscreen. During this strikeone has to be precise and quick on the draw if they are to make it past all the Ogres and Shriekers that inhabit this level. The unprepared player will soon become swarmed by enemy fire, while even the seasoned gamer will have to adjust to the difficulties taking place around themSavathun'Song is by far one of the hardest events inside Destiny+This, of course, should be expected from a game that is as in-depth and player-driven as the Destiny franchise but that doesn't make it any less frustrating. So, let'count down the easiest strikes in the game, along with the gut-punching ones that leave players crying for their m

+Any of the reload perks, be it Enlightened Action , Perpetual Motion, Rapid Hit , or Frenzy, are all great, allowing this weapon to really slide into the Submachine gun's territory in terms of how often players can keep their damage upPaired with Destabilizing rounds, this weapon really does function like a Submachine gun, more so than Warden'Law, with a pure add-clear perk designed to spread damage around. Players who rely on Void Keywords for their build, or just want a new Void weapon, should get a good roll out of t
