The difference though is that assault rifle ammo runs out very fast, whereas players can hold onto pistol ammo for quite awhile. Unique pistols also have a wealth of different abilities that make them very viable options in combat, particularly in close quarters and in confined spaces. First and foremost players are given the ability to apply the burning effect to those they attack as well as apply the stun effect as well. If players fire at several enemies at a time near them then it is pretty easy to have a group of stunned and burning enemies. Another fun aspect of this weapon though is the fact that it has reduced reload time and it has an additional mod slot that allows players to customize it as they see fit. During the course of the Heroes side job, players will be able to pick this weapon up from the ta | O' Five - This may not be the most powerful or most versatile of the sniper rifles, but it can't be argued that this weapon isn't a ridiculous amount of fun to use. It's a Power rifle so this already means that it ricochets off of any surface that it comes in contact with, but additionally it comes packed with more firepower due to having explosive rounds. This makes the O' Five incredibly effective at taking down vehicles as well as enemies, which makes it the perfect gun to keep in the player's inventory while roaming Night City. The downsides to the O' Five though are that its recoil is very high, which means that every shot will throw the player way off target. It also has a very limited ammo capacity and low rate of fire, which can make firefights pretty dicey. However the explosive ammo can still make it pretty useful for crowd control, so it isn't all bad. In order to acquire it, players will need to participate in Beat on the Brat at Arroyo. | Buzzsaw - This submachine gun is a joy to play around with as it will absolutely shred through enemies and combines some of the best aspects of both Power weapons and Tech weapons. For a submachine gun, this weapon packs a serious punch, and since it's a Power weapon it will also ricochet off of surfaces. This can make the weapon a very deadly presence already, but once it has been crafted it will randomly acquire either chemical, electrical, thermal, or physical damage, which will drastically increase its capabilities. By far the best aspect of this weapon though is that its bullets can penetrate through light cover just like the charged shots on a Tech gun. This means that players are able to shoot right through cover whenever they wish and decimate any foes that are hiding back there. Players can craft this weapon after picking up the blueprint from an enemy during a Suspected Crime mission in Norths | Problem Solver - Much like the Yinglong, the Problem Solver looks like a pretty big disappointment upon first glance. Sadly unlike the Yinglong it continues to remain a pretty weak weapon compared to all of the other submachine guns. Its initial DPS is actually higher than the Yinglong, but it doesn't have any other advantages to help set it apart from other basic guns in the game. The only additional trait it sports is the chance to inflict bleeding, but that can be found on a bunch of non-unique submachine guns as well and some of those have a higher damage output to begin with.
