| The latter is even more surprising, since Tearaway actually beat out Irrational Games' BioShock Infinite for a Best Game nomination. BioShock Infinite , the spiritual sequel to Irrational's critically-acclaimed FPS BioShock , suffered a critical backlash after the initial praise that it received and this seems to still be in full effect. BioShock Infinite did manage to achieve nominations for Audio Achievement, Artistic Achievement, Original Music and Best Performer (Courtnee Draper), but the snubs for Best Game and Best Story seem rather poin | One important logistic is the potential for archive lockout, with Arrow, The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow nearing the ends of their fourth, second and first seasons respectively. This isn’t the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where you can skip a movie and all you’ll miss is an ambiguous post-credits scene or occasional plot point. A season of Arrow is 22 episodes long, and there are four of them. That’s over sixty hours of television, just for one ongoing series. Remember Tommy Merlyn? Just about? How about Isobel Rochev? The series would need to be streamlined and fresh, and if that means jettisoning a lot of history (or just not bringing it up all that often), then that’s what needs to hap |

| Despite his family’s baffling generations-old ban on music, Miguel (voice of newcomer Anthony Gonzalez) dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz (voice of Benjamin Bratt). Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector (voice of Gael García Bernal), and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel's family hist | Other networks aside, the Legends of Tomorrow route seems more likely if we’re ever going to see the Justice League on the small screen. Some major players will get their own shows, while others will appear as important supporting characters. Picture a Superman series that has him mentored by Martian Manhunter or frequently teaming up with Green Lantern, or possibly a Wonder Woman show with her travelling to Gotham for one season and helping a mopey billionaire to lighten up a little. Not everyone needs their own show, and some might even need as little as a featured episode. Given that we’ve already got duplicate characters in the TV and movie worlds (the Flash, for example), this shouldn’t be too much of a prob |

| Oddly enough, it's said that Nintendo actually got their name for the protagonist from a lawyer that successfully defended them in a case against Universal Studios over a dispute regarding the name 'Donkey Kong' back in 1984. The lawyer's name? John Ki | And yet, groundwork is arguably being laid for another Justice League, in DC’s alternate-universe world of TV. Shows like The Flash , Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow might have smaller budgets, but they’ve been mostly well-received by fans and they’ve made far greater strides in establishing a shared universe than their super-friends over in movie world (not to be confused with Movie World, the Australian theme park). Better still, hints continue to be dropped as to the future of the TV universe. In a few years’ time, is it possible that we’ll be getting two Justice Leagues, on both the big and small scre |

| On a slightly cheerier note, Galactic Cafe's funny and cerebral indie title The Stanley Parable also scored four nominations, as did the dystopian bureaucracy simulator Papers, Please , which is up for a Best Game award. Other nominees for Best Game include Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Super Mario 3D World . Tomb Raider has three nominations, as does mobile title BADLAND and Beyond: Two Sou | Matt Villers: Deckard has been someone we've been wanting to do for awhile. | BAFTA announced the nominees today, and somewhat unsurprisingly The Last of Us is top dog once again with an impressive ten nominations. These include a Best Performer nomination apiece for Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson, as well as nominations for Artistic Achievement, Action and Adventure, Audio Achievement, Original Music, Multiplayer, Story, Game Design and - the big one - Best Game. Naughty Dog may well end up needing a wheelbarrow to carry home those golden ma | But again, it’s something that harkens back to the series’ PC roots. Whether or not games are ‘getting easier’ is not for me to say, but it’s undeniable that, once upon a time, PC games demanded a lot more trial-and-error on the part of the player. Setting my attackers to train in a forceful manner, my midfield in a passing-based manner, and my defenders to train in a manner that would have made a fisherman proud, I finally reached my first proper ma |

| MV: I feel like Deckard was one of the biggest challenges we've had to tackle. It's always fun going through that process of coming up with the abilities the heroes. We all get in a room together and go through their background, their lore, what powers they're known for, and things like that. That will give us room to have a discussion and see what ideas might be cool to do for them. The designers assigned to the hero will sit down and draw the kit and come up with the base gameplay that we think will work well for t | Similarly, players are also able to level up each of the game's factions. By cashing in gold and Sun Gems earned through battle, players can make each faction they control more powerful and emphasize their respective special abilities. By acquiring Sun Gems for factions that they don't have, players can unlock different types of creatures all with their own distinct abilities. Launching with thirty different creatures, Legend of Solgard gives players a massive amount of opportunities to min-max their characters and choose the creatures they see fit for each fi |

If you’re a soccer fan, and you’re prepared to face the initial steep learning curve, undoubtedly. It’s a great management title, filled with interesting trivia about the era, and provides a worthwhile challenge. If, like me, you’ve never enjoyed soccer… well, then it depends on your personality. If you’re easily frustrated by games that don’t hold your hand, then stay well clear. Although Legends offers an ‘Auto’ mode for most options, it’s still one that requires time, dedication and patience, and should be avoided by those without all three. If, like me, you get easily addicted and enjoy forming emotional attachments with video game characters… buy it. Just be prepared to give it a little t |

| As predicted, Buffalo starts strong with the first kills along with getting the first objective. Cal Poly picks up some momentum when they win a team fight they probably shouldn't have won; everyone on the Ponies was stunned but no one on Buffalo followed up leading to four kills and a level advantage for Cal Poly. The match was pretty tight throughout the entirety of the game and filled with some great team fights, with the last one leading to Buffalo grabbing the objective and grabbing their second | |

| Almost immediately, we lost another goal. 1-2. I just didn’t understand what I was doing wrong — why was the game punishing me for taking control of what was clearly the worst team in the league? Eventually, after many failed shots at goal, we lost the game. I was kicked back to the training menu, and I began to contemplate my next mo | |
